Team Lead (Backend .NET/C#)-Payments Platform

Are you an experienced Software Engineer with experience in leading a team? We are a world-class iGaming operator offering a variety of online gaming products in several markets, both through our own gaming sites as well as several partner brands. Joining the Engineering team means you will be responsible for building the best payment customer experience from payment pages perspective and improving the offering of amount of payment options on brands and markets that we operate within. We are an international team with some of the best people in the industry! A taster of what you will be doing:

• Build a high performing team with the right mix of skills and knowledge through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Be an active member of the team, your time would be split 50/50 (on average) between team leadership activities and technical work.
• Direct line management, being accountable for performance, satisfaction and career development planning.
• Drive and facilitate the teams delivery to production.
• Foster a team culture of ownership, collaboration, and passion for delivering quality products.
• Motivate the team to maintain high technical standards, in particular when it comes to ensuring reliability and up time.
• Collaborate with the wider technical leadership in ensuring the team follows architectural direction and for general alignment on ways of working.

• Facilitate discussion, decision making, knowledge sharing, planning and conflict resolution in the team.

• Ensure all roles in the team are well defined and communicated, with the ability to delegate responsibilities to team members.

What we are looking for:

• Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL), familiarity with modern web technology (Angular, JavaScript, Typescript)
• Deep understanding and natural tendency to lean agile principles and practices for product development
• Demonstrated ability to build on complex software systems and deliver solutions for business in timely manner
• Skills to lead teams effectively, motivate, direct and coach staff
• Very Good level of English
