Location: Malta

Salary: 45,000€ - 50,000€

Functional:

• Work on production of year end and half year results. Including working with auditors and

tax advisors.

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions

• Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants

• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary

• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement

• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company

• Research and analyse financial reports and market trends

• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and

short-term decision making

• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial

purposes

• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

• Key team member in the production of group budgets and reforecasts;

• Assist and lead business cases as necessary.

• Liaison with IT, HR, Legal and other relevant internal departments.

• VAT returns for Malta

• Monthly and quarterly statutory returns for the group.

• Work on ad-hoc projects to support the commercial and strategic direction of the business.

• Liaise closely with the BI and database departments to work on meaningful KPI reporting.

• Continual improvement and streamlining of department processes.

• Support and assist Finance Director and/or CFO.

• Ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting

qualification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, within the iGaming industry.

• Strong knowledge of iGaming industry-specific financial regulations and requirements.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Positive energy and motivation to learn and deliver

• Be self-motivated, meticulous and organised

• Ability to work in a team and with tight deadlines

• Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
