Role Responsibilities:

As a Development Team Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Development to build high-performing teams. Your focus will be on leading a group of highly skilled professionals, ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to thrive in their roles.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to continuously enhance the teams skills and knowledge.
• Directly managing team members, ensuring their performance, job satisfaction, and career growth are aligned with company goals.
• Ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality work on time, taking ownership of meeting commitments and expectations.
• Promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and a collective drive for delivering exceptional products.
• Working closely with engineers to architect and design optimal technical solutions.
• Contributing to the architecture and design of both new and existing systems.
• Collaborating with other teams and departments to exchange information and support team activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Backend development using PHP.
• Experience in Backend Engineering with proven leadership capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, with the ability to mentor and guide your team in these practices.
• Proficiency in balancing leadership duties, development tasks, and Scrum activities effectively.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
